College Conference 2009

A big thanks to everyone who came out to "Outrageous Generosity: The College Conference at Montreat." We had some great speakers in Tony Campolo, John Lewis, representatives from Invisible Children, and Linda Morgan-Clement, as well as awesome small group time and rec events. Really, though, how can you go wrong with an event called "Mixgizeroke?"

Both John Lewis and (Moderator of the 218th General Assembly) Bruce Reyes-Chow gave excellent "Town Hall" question and answer sessions. Then, of course, there was the ever-entertaining concert artist Jonathan Kingham. And who can forget the band? "Black Mountain Blue Grace" kept us dancing, clapping, and singing along all weekend.

The weekend was full of informative events, and we're sure there were some things you would have liked to go to but missed (due to scheduling, of course), so we put together a little video wrapping up the conference:
